‘MULTIGAS’, is the latest range of Laboratory Gas Generator solutions from Noblegen Products.

Using a standard 19” rack cabinet system you can configure your own laboratory gas generator setup incorporating gases such as hydrogen, zero air and nitrogen. The Multigas system is unlike any other laboratory solution allowing the user to select the gas or gases needed, add generators or change them out for another gas when needed.

A Description of PSA Technology
This system is made up of two beds of CarbonMolecular Sieve (CMS).Pre-treated compressed air enters the bottomof the first “on-line” bed and passes across theCMS.Oxygen and other trace gases arepreferentially adsorbed by the CMS allowingNitrogen to pass through.After a pre-set time when the on-line bed isnearly saturated with adsorbed gases, thesystem automatically switches the bed toregenerative mode whilst the second,previously regenerated bed, comes on-lineand takes over the separation process.The saturated bed is regenerated by rapidlyreducing the pressure inside the CMSchamber so allowing the captured gases toescape to atmosphere.This continuous 'swing’ in pressure betweenthe adsorption and regeneration modes givesthe technology its name.
