The N-GEN nitrogen generators extract the available nitrogen in the ambient air from the other gases by applying the Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) technology. During the PSA process compressed, cleaned ambient air is led to a molecular sieve bed, which allows the nitrogen to pass through as a product gas, but adsorbs other gases. The sieve releases the adsorbed gases to the atmosphere, when the outlet valve is closed and the bed pressure returns to ambient pressure. Subsequently the bed will be purged with nitrogen before fresh compressed air will enter for a new production cycle. In order to guarantee a constant product flow NG nitrogen generators use two molecular sieve beds, which alternatively switch between the adsorption and the regeneration phase

The NG8-1DF Nitrogen Generator from Noblegen is your reliable and efficient alternative to conventional high pressure cylinder and liquid gas supplies. The Generator has been designed to meet the gases, flow and pressure demands of the Agilent MP-AES Instrument which is senstive to the oxygen levels in the nitrogen, and includes a built in oxygen sensor as standard which lets the user know when the gas is ready to use. The colour graphic touch-screen displays all the information necessary to ensure an efficient and consistant supply of gas is always available to the MP-AES instrument.

Now with maximum pressure override system, if you are not taking 100% flow-rate the PSA will change over before it reaches the relief valve pressure, increasing compressor life
